In 2015 Van Tass and Ten were enthusiastically chosen as the “World Champions of Mentalism,” a prize that hasn't been awarded in 30 years. In April 2017 the Academy of Magical Arts and The Magic Castle Hollywood awarded Thommy Ten & Amélie van Tass "Stage Magicians of the Year" for their extraordinary art. In 2020 they received the Award “Mandrakes d’Or“ in Paris, France.

The Year Christmas was Almost Cancelled - An Original Musical
Mo’olelo – A Performing Arts Studio presents “The Year Christmas Was Almost Cancelled” – an original musical about a winter season when a catastrophe threatens the annual celebration and Santa, his wife and their faithful elves deal with the potential tragedy of having to cancel Christmas for a year. This heart-warming story about the true importance of the season features a small, tight-knit cast featuring Broadway performer Matthew Pedersen as Santa and Po’okela Award winner Vanessa Mazzullo as Mrs. Claus.
Performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 6:00pm through December 23rd (plus Thursday, December 21 at 7:00pm).

Waikiki Holiday Parade
Since 1998, the Waikiki Holiday Parade commemorates Pearl Harbor Survivors and the anniversary of the attacks. The mission of the event is to educate students on this important piece of U.S. history and preserving Polynesian culture. It also ushers in the holiday season for locals. The week of events and performances on the island, as well as months of preparations leading up to the trip, give students a unique learning experience that they will not soon forget. Thousands of spectators, residents and visitors gather on the Friday after Thanksgiving to watch this non-competitive parade, which hosts local bands, marching bands from the mainland, Pearl Harbor Survivors, service bands, military units, local officials, dignitaries and entertainers.

Silent Night Solstice Sing-Along
A night of song, contemplation, and reflection as Malia Helela soulfully leads this sing-along, promoting peace within all participants, with the intention to extend this peace to all beings. All songs have been chosen for their ability to touch the heart beginning with Ave Maria.
It is natural to gravitate towards contemplative practices in the wintertime. Rain and snow outside can make the indoors feel welcoming and cozy. Scrooge receives visits from spirits of three Christmases -- past, present and future. They show him the error of his self-serving ways, but the miserable old man seems to be past any hope of redemption and happiness.
