“Where you from?” Mural Photo Contest

“Where you from?” That’s usually one of the first things asked in Hawaiʻi, along with “What school you went?” and “What year you grad?” These questions connect all to roots, families, and stories.

Through the 2025–2030 Climate Action Plan (CAP) Mural Photo Contest, show "where you from" through the murals that color communities and tell stories of aloha ʻāina.
DETAILS:
📸 Submit one (1) photo of a mural in your neighborhood that reflects sustainability, creativity, and local pride (mural only, no people).
🖊️ Add a few sentences on why this mural represents your community.
📲 Submit by November 24 at bit.ly/capmurals

Selected photos may be featured in the 2025–2030 CAP or on related materials celebrating local leadership. All eligible participants will receive a limited edition CAP HOLO card loaded with $9, and will be entered into a drawing to receive a surprise from local non-profit organizations and Native Hawaiian-owned Oʻahu businesses whose work uplifts sustainability, community resilience, and aloha ʻāina—the same values at the heart of the CAP.
