Artists of Hawaii 2023 – A Juried Exhibition
Includes art in a variety of media created by artists living in the state of Hawaiʻi, and will be juried in 2023 by guest juror Tyler Cann, Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at HoMA.

Downtown Art Center Volunteer Art Show
From painters, printmakers and textile artists to photographers and ceramicists, Downtown Art Center has some of the most talented, creative volunteers around. This show is to celebrate them, not only for their contributions to the gallery (DAC literally couldn’t run without our volunteers) but as artists too!
Hawai‘i Craftsmen Annual Statewide Exhibition 2023
Held annually since 1967, the Hawai‘i Craftsmen Annual Statewide Exhibition features the finest traditional and contemporary craft from across the state of Hawai‘i.
Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: Saturday, September 30, 6 pm - 8pm
Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 11 am - 6 pm
Youth Art Classes: Emerging Artists for Grades K-2 with Fae Yamaguchi (7 Sessions - begins April 1)
7 Saturday sessions: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Classes limited to 12 students
Part of the DAC Young ARTists series!
This class is designed to explore the creative artist in each student. Young people will create 2D and 3D artworks in different mediums, such as painting, printmaking, clay, fiber and mixed media. Students will be encouraged to experiment and will have the freedom to express themselves in a safe and fun environment.
Making Art For Art’s Sake with Various Facilitators (Weekly)
Saturdays from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Tuition: $20 per each session
Let your creative spark loose. Release your INNER ARTIST! Come play, and make art with an open mind, free spirit, and sense of fun!
Participate in a workshop format, in which students will be given a new project designed to stimulate creativity each session. Limit 10 students per class.
