Amber Khan constructed four large-scale sculptures out of wood, glue, chicken wire, plaster, paper and paint; building on works realized for her MFA thesis exhibition and her previous exhibition at Aupuni Space (presented during Covid-19 outdoors as a drive-by exhibition). Amber’s work generates wonder and curiosity in viewers of all ages and walks of life, it is wonderfully accessible to everyone.

“We are really pleased with how the sculptures look at Honolulu Hale, and deeply grateful for The Creative City's role in making this happen.”
