Poʻo means "head" in Hawaiian, and a lei poʻo is a head lei or flower crown, often worn to celebrate special occasions such as weddings, graduations and hula performances.

Often made with ferns, flowers, and foliage, a lei poʻo can be made using various methods, including wili (wrapping) or haku (braiding), making all haku leis lei poʻo, but not all lei poʻo haku leis.
