Ronny Chieng & Friends are back for TWO NIGHTS ONLY: Tuesday August 4 and Wednesday August 5, 2026. Join us for a throw back comedy variety music show featuring a surprise special guest line up of famous stand-up comedians, movie stars and local music.

These shows are a love letter to the people of Hawaii, their love of live performances, and the local independent businesses and restaurants—including the historic Hawaii Theatre itself—that make Hawaii special.

 Housed in Honolulu’s historic Chinatown, the Hawaii Theatre has stood as a beacon for the arts since 1922. From silent films and vaudeville to symphonies, Broadway hits, and community performances, this landmark has inspired generations of artists and audiences alike.

 All proceeds from the evening will directly support the restoration and preservation of the Hawaii Theatre’s iconic exterior, along with vital funding for community programs, youth education, and world-class live performances. Your support helps ensure that this historic treasure remains a vibrant gathering place for Hawaii’s creative spirit for generations to come.

Ronny Chieng is an Emmy Award winning stand up comedian, actor and host on "The Daily Show". He starred in "Crazy Rich Asians", Marvel's "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings", Disney's "Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.", NBC's "Young Rock", "M3GAN" and Hulu’s “Interior Chinatown”, "King of the Hill" and Peacock series "The Miniature Wife". He has three stand up comedy specials on Netflix including the recently released “Ronny Chieng - Love to Hate It” which was the New York Times 2024 Comedy Special of the Year.
