The Create With Clay Hawai‘i program gave students from Ka‘iulani Elementary School and Likelike Elementary School the opportunity to discover the joy of creating and expressing themselves through clay. Sessions included ‘Volcanoes,’ including an eruption on the last day of class; printing on clay tiles with authentic ‘ohe kapala (traditional Hawaiian stamps); Nene goose and pu‘eo clay cutouts; botanical imprinted dishes with native plants and glazing.
